Bonasystems has been awarded accreditation from Safecontractor, a leading third party accreditation scheme, for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
As part of its drive to ensure consistency and uniform standards across the business, Bonasystems’ application for Safecontractor accreditation forms part of its long term strategy for growth. As floorcare specialists in market-leading cleaning and anti-slip products, services and consulting, securing formal accreditation and recognition is an important part of Bonasystems’ business development plans.
Christian Harris, Commercial Director at Bonasystems, said; “2016 promises to be a fruitful year for Bonasystems and we’re keen to get started on the right foot by securing our Safecontractor accreditation. Accreditation is a must in our sector as it also demonstrates that we meet very high health and safety management standards. Our clients can rest assured that when they work with us, they are working with a safe pair of hands.”
Safecontractor is applicable to most sectors although it is particularly relevant to the food manufacturing, property, facilities management, retail and leisure sectors, all of which are big users of Bonasystems’ products and services.
John Kinge, technical director of Safecontractor said, “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Bonasystems has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector.”
Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website.
